Ann Stein is known primarily for her oil paintings of the Maine landscape and portraits with notably bold color and dynamic perspectives. Every now and then, as a change of pace, she creates black and white scratchboard cuttings based on her paintings. These are commercially printed on acid-free paper and sold in small limited editions.
